WAGE: Starting wage is $20/hour and increases with experience, advancing skills and aptitude.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER LICENSE WITH A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.
QUALIFICATIONS: No experience required, but some experience in construction and/or tools and heavy equipment is preferred. Employer will train the right individual.
LOCATION: Job site locations vary. Locations include Central Montana, across the state of Montana, and some are out of state. TRAVEL IS REQUIRED. During inclement weather that prohibits masonry work, field employees may transition to snow plowing and snow removal duties that take place only in the Lewistown area.

DAYS/HOURS:
- During the masonry season, If working 8-hour days, the schedule is Monday-Friday
- During the masonry season, If working 10-hour days, the schedule is Monday-Thursday
- During snow plowing season, work days and hours will vary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver license and a clean driving record.
- Must be reliable and hardworking.
- Required to have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and reliable transportation to and from work.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 120 pounds.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel in a repetitive motion; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, including working on hands and knees for extended periods of time.
- Work in high, precarious places such as scaffolding and ladders.
- Work in outdoor weather conditions including extreme heat or cold.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
- Required to complete all work safely, with quality, and within product specifications, as directed by the foreman or superintendent.
- Attention to detail with demonstrated accuracy is a plus.
DUTIES:
- Must be able to support the skilled tradesmen by performing a variety of general labor tasks including:
- Setup, teardown, and cleanup of job sites
- Use power tools including drills, grinders, saws, and other varied tools
- Cut materials to specified sizes for installation using power saws or cutters
- Construction of scaffolding or other installation structures
- Stock materials
- Maintain and keep clean all equipment used
- Clean working surfaces and perform site maintenance and cleanup
- Other duties as assigned by the Foreman or Superintendent.
- Must follow all company standards based on the employee handbook, drug & alcohol policy, and safety polices and handbooks. Must report potentially unsafe conditions.
- Must be able to follow instructions precisely, and work independently as well as with others, in an organized manner.
- Due to Montana weather conditions and in order to prevent lay offs, Benchmark Masonry field employees may transition to snow plowing services in the winter months. Must be able to operate trucks and skid steers with snow plows. Training will be provided.

- Tape Measure, Brick Hammer, and Margin Trowel.
